Entertainment Lynn "Win" Roberts has been active in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Lynn is the winner of the "Cloney", awarded by the International Guild of Celebrity Impersonators and Tribute Artists, for his impersonation of Bob Hope in 2006. His resume is – to say the least – astounding. Impersonator, singer, multi-instrumentalist, band leader, with USA engagements, overseas tours, television, radio, corporate, cruises, concerts, educational seminars and commercials just to name a few. Lynn will bring back memories, as he interacts with the band and audience, performing his impersonations of Bob Hope, Jack Benny and Red Skelton. As you will see, Lynn can, and does do it all. www.lynnwinroberts.com The 20 piece Grand Avenue Big Band under the direction of Nick Desmond, is Chicagoland’s only big band featuring their Andrews Sisters style vocal trio: Strictly Uptown. Since 1992, the band has entertained at hundreds of events playing the hits of the 1940’s. In November of 1995, at the close of the 50th anniversary events for WWII, Grand Avenue proudly opened for the Glenn Miller Orchestra in Quincy, IL. With 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 4 piece rhythm section, a female vocal trio and 2 male vocalists, Grand Avenue has been called-and they truly are- "a DJ’s worst nightmare". The talented performers of Chicagoland’s Old Time Radio Players will recreate one of the original shows from the golden age of radio using original scripts, appropriate music and sound effects.
